Education Minister Stephen Lecce announced the latest instalment of the Government of Ontario’s investment in province-wide AST programming during IWALK Day celebrations on 2 October at St. Angela Merici CES in Bradford, Ontario. He was joined by Minister of Transportation and local MPP Caroline Mulroney, Mayor Robert Keffer and other school board and municipal representatives.
The announcement coincided with the official launch of the OAST-supported Simcoe-Muskoka Active School Travel Project that also included a media launch at Mountain View PS in Collingwood.
