Ontario Active School Travel
Ontario Active School Travel (OAST) is a program of Green Communities Canada with a mission to create a culture in which every day active transportation for Ontario students is safe, easy, and enjoyable.
We work towards this mission with our diverse partners and supporters across the province.

Ontario Active School Travel Council
The OAST Council brings together provincial stakeholders to identify and pursue strategic priorities for the continuing growth in active school travel. Learn more about the Council.

Ontario Active School Travel Fund
The OAST Fund offers grants to school boards, student transportation consortia, municipalities, and local not-for-profit partners. The fund selects projects that are expected to have a significant and lasting impact in communities by establishing a foundation for continued growth in active school travel. Knowledge Resources
The OAST program leads encouragement campaigns, undertakes research, and develops best practice guidance, tools, and resources.
